Huws Gray is a prestigious UK-wide construction-focused business and we worked with their specialist Timber Engineering division over many months to enable the production of this case study, capturing a combination of time-lapse, aerial-filmed and ground-filmed images of this major development in a spectacular location on the banks of the Menai Straits in north-west Wales. Thermolite asked us to come along to the RHS Flower Show in Tatton Park to film their garden building set within the Gold award-winning garden "Why Commute", designed by Multi Award Winning Garden Designer Pip Probert of Outer Spaces. Grafmarine are developing clean energy creation and power storage solutions to turn any flat surface into power hubs with the potential to be connected together. We love working with this company as they look to revolutionise, in the first instance, emissions from shipping. Here we filmed their latest business update to help engage with new investors. We were enlisted by DJ Rodman (Twitter @RodmanOfficial) to make an intro for his weekly music show "The Trance Empire" (Twitter @TheTranceEmpire), and we're very pleased to say that he couldn't have been more delighted! 😀

We worked with Huws Gray over a period of months to capture the footage for this video, filming from the air, from the ground, and via time-lapse cameras, in addition to filming in the factory facility. Some meticulous post production later and the construction of these three semi-detached houses can be experienced in less than 3 minutes, from the soleplate to the finished buildings and everything in-between. The video demonstrates many of the benefits of timber frame construction methods, and we think it's really rather entertaining to watch too! This multi-camera "TV chat show-style" video was made for Jane Smellie Opticians @smellieopticians8783, an independent opticians group who wanted an engaging and easy to watch video for customers to find out about everything they do, and in particular what makes them different to the large chains. In addition to multi-camera image capture, high quality multi-microphone audio capture was important in the making of this production, as was professional lighting. We made extensive use of "B-roll" footage throughout the video to enhance visually delivered information and viewer engagement. We also used an in-set television screen to digitally link additional on-screen appearances to the main filming location.
